Sports Update: Troy High girls show improvement

The Troy High School girls basketball team showed signs of improvement in back-to-back games on Friday and Saturday.

The Lady Trojans put together their best first halves of the year in those games. Still, Thompson Falls pulled away in the second half on Friday for a 47-22 win and Superior outlasted the Trojans on Saturday, 38-26.

Against the Bluehawks, Jackie Pepiot led Troy with eight points. Karli Cavill had the hot hand for Thompson Falls with 22 points.

Pepiot was also the Lady Trojans’ top scorer against Superior by finishing with 11 points.
