The Libby High School boys basketball team pulled off a 41-40 road victory over Polson on Saturday to improve to 2-1 in the Northwestern A.

Colton Cannon scored 17 points behind the strength of four 3-pointers and Alex Cislo hit double digits with 11 in the victory.

Polson (2-1, 6-3) had a chance to nab the win at the end on a Vince DiGiallonardo jumper but it wouldn’t fall and the Loggers held on. Libby held the Pirates to a mere four points during the fourth quarter.

Libby (2-1, 5-4) was scheduled to host Bigfork at home on Tuesday. The Loggers’ next game is coming up on Saturday at Glacier in Kalispell.
