The day includes demonstrations (9 a.m.-noon), potluck lunch (noon-1 p.m.) and hands on classes (beginning at 1 p.m.) at the Troy United Methodist Church’s Fellowship Hall.

The demonstrations are free while the hands-on classes include a fee of $15 to cover the cost of supplies. An advance signup is needed for the classes only.

Afternoon classes are felted wool lapel pin, taught by Ann Newton, and embellishing with thread and threadplay in quilt designing, taught by Kathleen Pierce.

The event will include door prizes to be given away all morning and a quilt and craft related thrift sale table. Attendees will be asked to vote on their favorite charm challenge projects designed by Tender Lovin’ Quilter members.
