The Troy High School boys basketball team survived struggles at the free-throw line to hang on for a 57-55 victory over Eureka on Friday night.

The two teams battled neck-and-neck throughout the game. Ryan Rayson's 3-pointer with 2:52 remaining put the Trojans on top for good at 54-51 but plenty of drama remained. Troy made just 3-of-10 free throws in the final 2 1/2 minutes. But Eureka also struggled at the foul line, including in the final seconds with a chance to tie.

Trent Cratty scored 15 points, which included a trio of 3-pointers. Rayson also had 15 points with two 3-pointers. Kody Hoffman had one of his top games with nine points and Brian Hammrich finished with eight.

Ryan Holder scored a game-high 20 points for the Lions while Tanner Blankers scored 14.
