Boys Basketball: Libby drops games to C. Falls, Ronan

The Libby High School boys basketball team fell short at Ronan on Saturday, 47-44.

A 3-point attempt in the final seconds wouldn’t fall and the Chiefs held on to win their fourth straight on the home court.

Kelly May and Cree Maloney each scored 10 points for the Loggers.

Ronan’s Justin Dustybull scored a game-high 18 points.

Columbia Falls broke open a close game with a 28-5 effort in the second quarter to defeat Libby, 66-34 on Thursday night.

Kelly May scored 11 points and Alex Cislo finished with nine for LHS.

Kyle Howell scored 18 points for the Wildcats. Columbia Falls remained unbeaten in the Northwestern A.

Libby (3-3, 7-8) was scheduled to play at Troy on Tuesday. The Loggers will play at home on Saturday against Ronan. The scheduled start time is 4:30 p.m.
