LHS wins 2 drama events at meet

Libby High School students claimed two

first-place finishes at last weekend’s Whitefish Speech, Debate and

Drama Tournament.

Jolee Holder and Jake Schikora took top

honors in the Humorous Duo category.

Holder also teamed up with Miranda Raab

for first place in Serious Duo. Paige Bothman and Hailey Bowe took

fifth place in that same category.

Individually, Hannah Payne placed

second in the Pantomime category. Raab took third in Serious Solo.

And in Humorous Solo, Anthony Dewey placed sixth and Tyler Kneller

was eighth.

The team now gets a break before

hitting the stretch run in January with appearances in Columbia

Falls and Ronan. This year’s divisionals will be staged on Jan.

21-22 in Libby with state to follow Jan. 28-29 in Laurel.
