Robert L. Morck

Robert L. Morck, 74, of Troy died Saturday, April 3, 2010 at St. John’s Lutheran Hospital in Libby from natural causes.

He was born Oct. 20, 1935 to Adolf and Annie Morck. He grew up and attended school in Viborg, S.D., and graduated from Viborg High School with the class of 1958.

He joined the U.S. Navy and served for four years. He married Lynda Marshall in California in 1960. After the service, he attended the South Dakota School of Mines and earned a degree in engineering. He worked for General Dynamics, J.P.L. and Hughes. He moved to Troy in 1995.

He enjoyed pool, archery, watching the NASA channel, remodeling and gardening. He was a member of the Bull Lake Fire Department, Senior Citizens of Troy and the Troy VFW.

Survivors include his children, Catherine Morck of Troy; and David Morck of California; brothers, Rueben Morck of South Dakota; and Roger Morck and wife Joan of South Dakota.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m., on Thursday, April 8 at the Milnor Lake Cemetery.
