Letter: Visitors appreciate kindness during stay

| June 25, 2009 12:00 AM

Dear Editor:

We recently visited the wonderful town of Libby. Upon our departure, we encountered problems with our vehicle. The people of Libby were so helpful. Several people stopped by to offer assistance.

This occurred on a Sunday. Naturally many businesses were closed, including most of the auto part houses, and we were unable to locate the part needed to fix the vehicle.

We had stayed at the Huckleberry House Bed & Breakfast the night before. Since we had such a pleasant experience, I went back to see if they had a room for another night.

The hosts, who were out of town, rushed back to make sure everything was OK and offered any assistance needed, including loaning me their tools. They even drove me out of town to the wrecking yard to get the part needed to fix my vehicle.

I wanted to thank the people of Libby, Antlers Restaurant and especially the hosts of the Huckleberry House Bed & Breakfast for their neighborly assistance.
