For the second straight week, Polson’s Brock Picard had to fight off Libby’s Seth Wright for a tournament title.

In the inaugural Tournament of Champions all-star wrestling event at Great Falls on Saturday, Picard won a 9-2 decision over Wright in the finale at 171 pounds. Wright, a senior for the Greenchain, had lost a 7-5 decision in the championship bout at the Class A State Wrestling Tournament the previous week.

The event, sponsored by the law firm of Hoyt and Blewett PLLC, drew 57 wrestlers with more than 700 on  hand to watch the semifinals and finals.

As the 215-pound champion of Class A, Libby’s Justin Graham was invited to participate but he chose to sit it out.
