Lola Ann Snyder Sichting

Lola Ann Snyder Sichting died Sept. 20, 2008 at the home of her daughter, Shirley Wasco, where she had resided since 1985.

She was born on Nov. 26, 1917 in Libby, Mont., to Mier and Viola Snyder. She was one of 10 children. She married Roy R. Sichting in 1937 and had three children.

Mrs. Sichting was known as a kind and generous mother and grandparent who gave freely to those she loved. She was especially proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; sisters Helen Berg and Ada Flatt; and brothers Harold Snyder and Daniel Snyder.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Rae Carmon of Spokane, Wash., and Shirley Wasco and husband George of Libby; son, Robert Sichting and wife Alda of Downey, Calif.; three sisters, Alda Dudley of Plymouth, Calif., Geneva Lybyer of Libby and Lila Lucas of Tillamook, Ore.; two brothers, Franklin Snyder and Raymond Snyder – both of Libby; six grandchildren, Tony Carmon of Barstow, Calif., Laura Suriano of Mead, Wash., Randy Carmon of Spokane, Curtis Wasco of Chewelah, Wash., Rebecca Drake of Helena, Mont., and Cynthia Sichting of Huntington Beach, Calif.; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be Friday, Sept. 26 at 11 a. m. at the Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Libby. Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 25 from 1-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
