Letter: Subscribers enjoy cruise on lake

Dear Editor:

We wish to thank The Western News for offering river and lake cruises as an incentive for renewing a subscription to the paper.

We experienced a very enjoyable cruise of Lake Coeur D’Alene earlier this month. It was an interesting and relaxing hour-and-a-half with a chance to learn a lot of fascinating history of that part of Idaho as well.

Thank you, Western News and Hagadone Corp., for the chance to participate in a clever marketing venture.
