Animal shelter selling tickets, tiles

Kootenai Pets for Life volunteers are currently involved with two fundraisers – a raffle and selling of tiles.
The raffle’s main prize is a handcrafted quilt donated by the Troy Quilt Guild. Other prizes include a car emergency kit and a pair of binoculars.
Tickets are available from Kootenai Pets for Life by calling 293-3435 or 293-6801. The drawing will be held in February during the organization’s annual spring rummage sale.
Kootenai Pets for Life is also selling tiles that will become a wall in the new shelter, which is currently under construction. For information on joining the wall of tiles, call 293-5039.
The organization still welcomes volunteers to help with the new shelter on County Shop Road. Anyone with construction skills are asked to call Jerry Alway, construction supervisor, at 293-9830 and leave a message about getting on the work schedule.
