George Fabian Bissonette

George F. Bissonette, 67, of Cle Elum, Wash., died of pancreatic cancer on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008, at Kittitas Valley Hospital.

He was born Dec. 25, 1940 in Missoula, Mont., to Fabian and Lois (Sanderson) Bissonette.

Mr. Bissonette retired after 31 years with the U.S. Forest Service as a fire management officer at Nine Mile Ranger District, Libby Ranger District and Cabinet Ranger District at Trout Creek.

He married Linda Lee Remior Dec. 17, 1971.

Mr. Bissonette is survived by his wife, Linda; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Laura Bissonette, of Port Angeles, Wash.; grandsons, Luke and Carl Bissonette of Ellensburg, Wash.; sisters, Dorothy (Bob) Danforth of Frenchtown, Jackie (Gayland) Ingalls of Camas Valley, Ore., Vivian (Bob) Denault of  Ronan, Deanna Neff of Surprise, Ariz., Lynn (Arthur) Berkley of Las Cruces N.M., Norale (Meryl) Young of Colstrip and Twyla Bissonette of Butte.
