Kenneth H. 'Ken' Noble

Kenneth H. “Ken” Noble, 54, died Friday, May 30, at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

He was born May 13, 1954, to Charles H. and Alene Stempel Noble in Cut Bank and came to Libby as a child with his family.

Ken was raised in Libby, graduating from Libby High School in 1972. He studied welding at a vocational school in Spokane, Wash.

Ken belonged to Ironworkers Union Local No. 14 in Spokane and was an ironworker for over 35 years, working on construction projects throughout the United States and in Puerto Rico until his retirement in 2006.

Following his retirement, Ken and his wife, Kristine, returned to Libby.

A person of many interests, Ken enjoyed the outdoors and all things connected with the outdoors; he enjoyed his family, most especially his grandchildren.

Ken was preceded in death by his father in 1968 and mother in 2004.

Survivors include his wife in Libby; children Jeni Noble and Kenny Jr., both of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and Ron Williams (Mindy) and Jeremy Williams (Cami), all of Longmont, Colo.; sisters Sherry Adkison (Gary) of Alaska, Kathy Bauer (Neil) of Libby and Debbie Noble of Missoula; a brother, Mike Noble of Washington; and six grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Sunday, June 8, at Nelson & Vial Funeral Home Chapel in Libby.
