Martha Kirkpatrick

| July 10, 2008 12:00 AM

Martha Kirkpatrick was born to Vernon and Mary Mckee on Nov. 30, 1918 in Superior, Wis. She joined her parents and her brothers Manfred, Richard and Clifford in Heaven on July 6, 2008.

Martha was married to William (Bill) Law for 20 years before his death. The Laws had no children. In 1964, she married Albert Kirkpatrick and they resided in Wisconsin until both retired.

Martha and Albert enjoyed getting together with family and friends, and going boating and fishing. Martha did beautiful crochet work and was a wonderful cook, who enjoyed having family and friends over to share meals.

The Kirkpatricks moved to Libby in 1986. While in Montana they were active in the local chapter of the VFW and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. In 2005 failing health led them to move to assisted living in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, so they could be closer to family.

Martha is survived by her husband, Albert, her sisters, Bertha Witt (in Wisconsin) and Rhoda Anderson (in Florida), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Goodbye, Martha, until we meet again, we know you loved us, and we'll miss you.

'For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.' Philippians 1:21.

A private graveside service is scheduled for 3 p.m., on Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at Pinecrest Memorial Park.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Coffelt Funeral Service.
