Libby rocks Northwestern A Conference rankings

With 18 games under their belts, the six Northwest A Conference teams have competed and the dust has settled, revealing Libby's leadership.

In total points, Jackie Mee leapt to first individually with 18.56 per game - 334 total. Behind her was Bulldog Ashley Ferda with 268 or 15.76 per game.

As a team, the Loggers placed third behind Whitefish (1) and Bigfork (2) with 47.06 points per game and 847 total.

Whitefish had 989 total points, averaging 54.94 per game and BF had 923 points, averaging 51.28 per game.

The Loggers were ranked first in three pointers, averaging 3.5 points per game, completing 63 out of 198.

Brittany Martin placed second individually in freethrows, netting 32 of 85, or 37.65 percent, while Jackie Mee placed third with 27 of 88, or 30.68 percent.

Bulldog Ferda was first in freethrows with 38 of 110 attempted, or 34.55 percent.

Overall, Whitefish was second in freethrows with 3.39, or 61 out of 183, while Ronan placed third with a 2.72 per game or 49 of 171 completed.

In steals, Libby nabbed second with 13.22 per game and 238 total. Polson averaged 15 steals per game with 270 total.

Libby also placed second in team assists, with 243 total assists, or 13.5 per game. Whitefish made 258 assists to lead the pack with a game average of 14.33.

Individually, Brooke Hageness was third in assists and blocks, with 79 or 4.39 assists per game and 61 or 3.39 per game.

Brittany Martin and Laice Dedrick respectively nabbed fifth in steals and assists for Libby with 50 steals or 2.78 per game for Martin and 46 assists or 2.56 assists for Dedrick - Holly Cirian placed 10th in assists with 37 or 2.31 per game.

Libby was ranked fifth in 2 pt field goals, with a 37.18 percent overall average and a 12.72 per game average of completion. Bigfork reigned supreme with a 43.38 percent average and 17.28 shots per game.

Mee placed second in individual two point field goals with 83 of 157, or 4.61 per game, a 52.87 percent average.

In first place was Fierro of Bigfork, who completed 101 of 212, resulting in a 5.61 per game average and 47.64 percent success rate.

Combined, Mee took first individually, completing 110 of 245 or 6.11 per game and 44.9 percent.

Fierro snagged second with 5.61 per game and 47.42 percentage, completing 101 of 213.

Libby placed third overall in combined field goals behind Bigfork and Whitefish, with a 35.87 percent average and 16.22 points per game.

Both Bigfork and Whitefish averaged in the 41 percent percentile, with 19.78 and 19.28 per game, respectively.

Freethrow percentages found Libby placing second behind Whitefish, 55.87 percent vs. 63.93 percent.

Out of 358 attempts, Libby netted 200. Polson placed third with 53.66 percent.

Columbia Falls led the pack in rebounds with 35.28 per game. Bigfork followed with 33.22 and Libby followed Whitefish with 27.67.

Individually, Mee ranked fifth in rebounds, grabbing 6.67 per game, while Dedrick ranked 10th with 5.5 per game.

In blocks, Bigfork was way ahead of the pack with 133. Columbia Falls and Ronan had 38 and 37, while Libby brought up the rear with 25.

Mee placed fifth in blocks, with an average of one per game.
