Willie (Earline) Marie Gossett, 58, a long time Troy resident died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008 in Libby. She was born April 7, 1949 in Superior to Edward and Phyllis McDowell Williams. She grew up and attended school in Superior and Troy. She lived in Missoula for 10 years and then returned to Troy. She owned and operated the Home Bar in Troy and also the Dirty Shame in the Yaak. She enjoyed fishing and hunting camp.

Survivors include her daughter Tracey Stewart and her husband William of Redwing, Minn.; step-children Donna, Darren, Michelle and Buddy; three grandchildren R.J. and his wife Becky, Jackie, Mark and his wife Laura; siblings Rossanne Beckman and her husband Larry of Horseshoe Bend, Idaho, Eddie Williams of Denver, Colo., Marlette Pogue and her husband Steve of Moscow, Idaho, John Williams and his wife Irene of Horseshoe Bend, Idaho, John Brown of Troy, Jim Brown, Jackie, Terry Miller, Larry Chapel and his wife Billie of Troy, Loni Chapel of Troy, Lola, Dave Chapel of Troy, Kathy Chapel of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; step-mother Fern Woods of Horseshoe Bend, Idaho; adopted mother Jo Chapel of Troy; aunt JoAnn Lundin of Troy; and cousins Charlie and Alan.

Local arrangements are by the Nelson & Vial Funeral Home in Libby.
