Dennis L. Hill

Dennis L. Hill, 61, of Denver, Colo., formerly of Libby, died on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008 in Denver.

He was born June 27, 1946, in Little Fork, Minn., and as a child came to Libby, where he was raised by his parents, Bill and Erma Baeth.

Dennis attended Libby schools and graduated in 1964. He worked at the Libby Mill until he joined the U.S. Army. He was in the army for 11 years and served two tours in Vietnam. After getting out of the service, he settled in Colorado Springs, Colo. where he worked at a body shop before moving to Denver. He then drove a long distance mail truck for many years before buying his own semi truck in which he hauled miscellaneous merchandise across the U.S.

Dennis loved fishing, hanging out with his good friend Larry Carbajal, and keeping in contact with the family.

He is survived by his brothers, Steven Hill of Laughlin, Nev., Bill and his wife Joyce Baeth of Spokane, Wash.; and sisters Anita Funk and her husband Al of Spokane, Becky Baeth and Carla Foti and her husband Joe of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and Dianne Kneller and her husband Dan of Libby. He was preceded in death by his brothers David and Thomas Hill, sister Roberta Brester, and his parents Bill and Erma Baeth.

There will be no services held. Burial will be done in Libby in the spring.
