Louis S. Crow Sr.

Louis S. Crow Sr., 68, of Libby died from natural causes Monday, July 28, 2008, at his home in Libby.

He was born Aug. 31, 1939, in Chalaroi, Pa., to Hady and Gertrude Stenburg Crow. He grew up and attended school in Pennsylvania and graduated from high school there.

At age 18, he entered the U.S. Navy where he served for four years. He was honorably discharged in May 1962.

He married Patty Parker in 1983. He lived and worked in Denver for 30 years. In 1998, he and Patty moved to Libby.

Mr. Crow enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and restoring old cars. He was a simple man who loved his family and friends very much.

Survivors include his wife Patty Crow of Libby; children Louis Crow Jr. of Tararentum, Pa.; William Crow and wife Kelly of Denver, Colo.; stepchildren Heather Anderson of Denver; Nathaniel Scott and wife Tina of San Hosea, Calif.; grandchildren Nicole, McKenzie, Sarah, Jordon and Nathaniel; sisters Bonnie Vigalent of Georgia; brothers George Crow of Buena Vista, Colo.; and Paul Crow and wife Kathy of Spirit Lake, Iowa.

Private family services will be held. Local arrangements are by Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home.
