Roshae M. Hales Jenne

| April 19, 2008 12:00 AM

Roshae Marie Hales Jenne was born Dec. 19, 1985 and passed away April 13, 2008 as a result of complications from Cystic Fibrosis and Influenza. Even though Roshae was born with Cystic Fibrosis she lived every day at full speed ahead and never acknowledged that she was anything but a normal kid.

Roshae's father, Troy, was a career Noncommissioned Officer in the U.S. Air Force and she grew up in Utah, Idaho, Oklahoma and Spokane, Wash. where her mother, Tami, made homes out of government quarters on the Air Force bases where they were stationed.

She graduated with honors from Medical Lake High School in Medical Lake, Wash. Even though Roshae lived with the fact that her's was a very fragile existence it never slowed her down. Her parents were devoted to giving her every opportunity to have a normal life and with the help of Dr. Michael McCarthy did compress a lot of living into her 22 years.

Roshae loved cars, music, movies, games, poetry, animals and all things having to do with angels and everyone she ever met. She had an ever-expanding list of friends and everyone who ever met her loved her.

She married her high school sweetheart, Dustin Jenne in November 2005 and they made a home together at Fairchild Air Force Base in Washington where he was stationed. He was also a member of the U.S. Air Force.

Roshae was a many faceted young woman. She had a wonderful sense of humor, could be most exasperating at times and had a serious side composing poetry and attacking life in general. She and Dustin even have a star named in honor of them in the International Star Registry. That star in the constellation Sagittarius is visible on almost any clear night. So with these few words of remembrance about Roshae, it will be summed up with this thought: She will remain forever young in our hearts, yet she was gifted with a wisdom of the ages and the insight of a person who understood the value of life and even in her youth, the difference between quantity and quality. So Roshae who loved angels, believed deeply in them and now I'm certain has, with the slightest ruling of new wings, left us to join them, now watches over all who loved her in this life. And, when we want to feel her presence, we need only to go outside, look up and search out that star in the night sky and we will feel her warmth flow over us on these coming summer evenings.

Roshae is survived by her husband Dustin and her little hairy friend Jack Fugley of Fairchild, Wash.; her parents Tami and Troy Hales of Troy; in-laws Dale, Lori, Kacy and Anna Jenne of Medical Lake; grandparents Penni and Gary Smith, also of Troy, and Linda and Chuck Hales of Salt Lake City, Utah; grandparents-in-law Sharon Wong from Dayton, Wash., Ray Mollenhauer of Wenatchee, Wash., and Dave and Beth Jenne of Mattawa, Wash. and many other extended family and friends.

Arrangements are being made by Nelson & Vial Funeral Home for Roshae's rest at Milnor Lake Cemetery.
