Jerry W. Peek

Jerry Wayne Peek, 53, of Hayden Lake, Idaho passed away on March 30, 2008 at his home. He was the son of Auldin and Elfrieda Peek.

He was raised and educated in Libby. He married Barbara Kuntz in 1977, then later divorced. He later married Corinna Williams on Sept. 5, 1987. They resided in Libby until her death in 1994.

Jerry was a master craftsman in several fields, welding, mechanics, construction and logging. He was last employed as a diesel mechanic on a tug boat in Hawaii.

He had a love for the great outdoors where he loved to camp, hike, fish, hunt and take country drives and he loved to share it with his children. He loved to work on old cars, trucks or any piece of machinery that gave him a challenge.

He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.

Survivors include his children: Kara Williams of Rathdrum, Idaho, Jenni Juntunen and her husband Jeremy of Kalispell, son Auldin Peek and his wife Raquel of Rathdrum, and Morgan Peek of Libby; sisters: Alma Wood and her husband Jim of Dayton, Mont., Theresa Stubbs and her husband Calvin of Libby, Charlotte Martell of Hardin, Mont., and Elfie Benson of Hayden Lake; and brother Glen Peek and his wife Cindy of Libby; 11 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews; ex-brothers-in-law and devoted friend Rick Benson of Hayden Lake.

A memorial dinner will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 19 at the Libby VFW.
