Randall A. Roberts

Randall A. Roberts, 47, of Libby died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2007 at his home in Libby from natural causes. He was born Feb. 22, 1960 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. to Andrew and Mary Woodard Roberts. He grew up and attended school in Nekoosa, Wis. and graduated from Nekoosa High School. After high school he worked at a cranberry marsh and at the local newspaper. In 1986 he moved to Libby to live his dream of hunting and fishing.

He married Jan Lowell on Dec. 18, 1991. He owned and operated Wapiti Ridge Skulls. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, wrestling matches, coaching baseball and softball. He was a member of Country Bucks Bow Club.

Survivors include: his wife Jan of Libby; sons Randall Roberts Jr. of Wisconsin, Isaac Hanneman of Camp Victory, Iraq, Matt Roberts of Libby and Kody Roberts of Libby; sisters Joy Bruley and Amber Lowell both of Nekoosa; parents Andrew and Mary Roberts of Nekoosa; and numerous nieces and nephews, including Andrea Beaudel and her husband and Jack Lowell, both of Nekoosa.

Services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 19 at The Chapel (formerly the Hidden Chapel) at 1207 Utah Ave. Local arrangements are by the Nelson & Vial Funeral Home in Libby.
