Nanette J. Jaqueth

Nanette J. Jaqueth, 52, died Friday, Oct. 12, at her home in Libby.

She was born in Libby on Sept. 27, 1955 to Kenneth and Kathleen (Kay) Jaqueth. Nanette attended Mrs. Stanley's kindergarten and Libby public schools, graduating from Libby High School in 1973.

She attended Chaminade University and University of Hawaii, earning a bachelor's degree in business with hotel and travel management.

Nanette was assistant manager of The Kona Surf on the the big island of Hawaii for seven years and later taught and managed in travel schools in Anchorage and Fairbanks, Alaska.

With a spinal cord injury in 1995, Nanette returned to Montana to live near her family in Glendive and Libby.

She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth.

Nanette is survived by her mother, Kay Jaqueth-Watson of Libby; two brothers: J. Scott Jaqueth and his wife Gayle and her son Tim, of Yaak; Rick Jaqueth and his wife Leslie and their children Zachary and Alyshia of Libby; an aunt, Wanda Jaqueth of Libby; and cousins Mark, Jan, Lynn, Brooke, Amanda and their families; and her very good friend Frank Hendrickson.

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 19, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Jozef Perehubka as celebrant. Arrangements are under the care of Nelson & Vial Funeral Homes & Crematory.
