Clifford E. Kelley

Clifford E. Kelley, 67, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2007 at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula of natural causes.

He was born on Jan. 11, 1940 in Northome, Minn., to Eugene and Charlotte Kelley. As a young man he served in the Armed Forces.

On Aug. 4, 1962 he married Janice K. Wadholm in Sandpoint, Idaho. The couple resided in Libby until 2003. After that time they lived where their home on wheels would take them. He worked in the lumber mill in Libby until he retired.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, bowling and spending time with family, friends and his loving pets, Angel and I.Q.

He was a beloved husband, father, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to all. He enjoyed socializing with friends and family while helping a neighbor in need.

Clifford was preceded in death by his mother, father, two brothers, one sister and a great-grandson.

Survivors include his wife, Janice of Polson and Yuma, Ariz.; three daughters, Christine Simmonson of Gillete, Wyo.; Darla & Bud Watt of Polson and Tina & Bernie Clark of Wasilla, Alaska; three brothers, Arnold, Dale and Lonnie Kelley; two sisters, Arlysse Becker and Marion Langford; seven grandchildren, Dorthy, Kelley, Crystal Kelley, J.C. Watt, Danielle Byrum, Amanda Watt, Joey Metzger and Tiffany Clark: five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services along with a potluck luncheon will be held Friday, May 11, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at 1006 First Street East, Polson, for family and friends. Livingston-Malletta & Geraghty Funeral Home in Missoula assisted the family with arrangements.
