Who will be held responsible for 44 million abortions?

| November 21, 2006 11:00 PM

To the Editor:

How is it that we have had 33 million abortions since the Supreme Court "legislated" the Roe vs. Wade case in 1973?

Oh correction, 40 million. No, it's 44 million aborted babies in America - and counting.

Who did this? The doctors in the American Medical Association are silent about these murders by doctors of these babies. The scribes/lawyers of the American Bar Association can scarcely be heard in a demand for the Constitution's Article IV, "nor be deprived of life" clause for these aborted babies.

Well then there's the clergy in your town and on high in the national media - priests, pastors, bishops, elders, ministers, doctors of divinity and "reverends" (only God is to be revered) - who are not speaking out to their congregation or to the public that our Creator frowns on the murder/killing of America's innocent, young, birthing babies by the doctors.

All the while the scribes/lawyers, as Jesus said (Luke 11:46) "Ye touch not the burdens with one of your fingers."

It's true, these words are strong, though true. Alas, more follows. How is it that those of the highest legislative leadership (state governors, attorney generals, U.S. senators and House of Representatives) are so deathly silent as to be in a mausoleum? Surely they know that the civil laws originated out of God's last five commandments (not kill/murder etc.) that we elected them to administer? It is here that we the citizens who vote have abdicated our responsibilities.

"We the people" haven't demanded of our elected, the clergy, the courts and the medical profession an end to this murder of America's innocents!

William Shakespeare said it plainly, "Thou shalt do no murder" (Hamlet) and "Murder most foul, will out!" (MacBeth)

Is our Creator going to hold America responsible for these abominable sins for the last 35 years and counting? I fear so, that he rightly will. "For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord." (Proverbs 1-29)
