Terry Tyndall

Terry L. Tyndall, 64, of Troy died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006, at his home from natural causes.

He was born Jan. 8, 1942, in Custer Township, Mich., to Midgel M. and Florence Rupcich Tyndall.

Terry attended school in Ludington, Mich., and graduated from St. Simon Catholic School.

He joined the Army in March 1959, served in the Korean War and was honorably discharged in February 1962.

Terry worked for GTE of Michigan, and as a private contractor installing telephone equipment for 30 years.

He married the former Lois Thomas on Nov. 19, 1983, near Lake Tahoe. They worked as central office equipment installers.

After traveling across the United States, the Tyndalls completed their home in Troy in 1992. Terry earned his Realtor's license in July 1993 and worked as a sales associate for DeShazer/Ryan until August 2006.

He belonged to National Rifle Association, American Legion and BASS Association.

Terry enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, making walking sticks, campfires and chopping wood.

He was a loving husband and will be remembered for his honesty and sense of humor.

Terry was preceded in death by his brother, Pat.

Survivors include his wife; brothers Gary Tyndall and his wife, Donna, of Brownsburg, Ind., Gale Tyndall and his wife, Janet, of Scottville, Mich., and Joe Tyndall and his wife, Marcia, of Muskegon, Mich.; a sister, Jean Mustaikis and her husband, Jim, of El Mirage, Calif.; and a niece, Kristy Fresh and her son, Patrick, of Post Falls, Idaho.

Memorials can be made to Troy Hospice, Troy Volunteer Ambulance or Kalispell Wings.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6, at Nelson & Vial Funeral Home in Libby.
