Thankful for Nordicfest help

Tusen Takk to the Nordicfest food booth workers!

Sons of Norway wishes to thank the 16 members and 14 non-members who worked in our food booth during Nordicfest. Each year the lodge relies on non-members to lend a hand and they are always willing to do so. As Norhaven members age, health problems keep them from working as much as they’d like to.

(Hint, hint: we’d love some younger members, and you don’t have to be Scandinavian to join.)

The awesome group that helped us this year included: Caleb and Christine Moeller, Jessie Adamson, Lynn Willis, Gina Huffman, Laura Tindall, Rob Vinson, Rev. Joe and Brenda Slaughter, Patty Kramer, Mariah Larsh, Katherine Lind, Robby Hughes and Shea Basham.

We could not have managed without their help. Most of the people mentioned have volunteered for several years and will probably help out next year, if I should need them.

—Freda Howard,
